The programme may include:

  • School uniforms
  • School shoes
  • Educational scholarship

Our goal is not simply to give children materials. It is to help equip them for a future filled with greater opportunity and possibility.

Empowering Children Through Education, Inspiration & Mentorship 10,000 Children. One Mission. A Future Worth Investing In.

Every child deserves the opportunity to go to school, learn, feel valued and dream about a better future. Yet many children in vulnerable communities are unable to attend school because their families cannot afford basic educational necessities.

Project Equip, an initiative of Grace-To-Inspire Child & Youth Development Foundation, is designed to reach 10,000 out-of-school children in Makoko with educational materials, mentorship and opportunities that support their emotional and personal development.

Our goal is not simply to put children back in classrooms. We want to equip them for life.

THE PROJECT

Project Equip combines Back-to-School Support with an Emotional Intelligence, Adolescent Mental Health & Leadership Workshop, creating a holistic approach to children’s education and wellbeing. Many vulnerable children face poverty, family hardship, emotional challenges and difficult life experiences. Some may carry experiences they have never had the opportunity to talk about.

Through Project Equip, we want to create a safe and supportive environment where children can learn, express themselves, develop emotional awareness, build resilience, discover their strengths and receive positive mentorship.

Alongside this support, every sponsored child will receive essential back-to-school materials.

WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS

Imagine being a child who wants to go to school but has no school bag. Imagine wanting to learn but having no books or writing materials. Imagine standing outside a classroom because you do not have the required uniform or shoes. For many children, these are not imaginary situations. They are barriers that can stand between them and the education they deserve. Your support can help change that story.

Through Project Equip, Grace-To-Inspire Child & Youth Development Foundation is working to provide more than educational materials. We want to provide hope, encouragement, mentorship, emotional support and opportunities for children to develop the confidence and skills they need to thrive.

WILL YOU HELP US EQUIP A CHILD? You can pick an item. You can sponsor a complete package. You can sponsor a child for ₦56,000. Or you can support the wider Project Equip programme No contribution is too small when it helps remove a barrier from a child’s path to education.
